Sci-Fi/Fantasy Giveaways

Congratulations to the five people who won full sets of paperbacks of The Primal Patterns series on Goodreads. I ended up personalizing the copies with autographs and messages, and I hope you enjoy the inscriptions :D!

There are a couple of other giveaways going on, and these involve a bunch of great independent Sci-fi/Fantasy authors. The giveaways are going on over the middle of this month, and you should definitely mosey on over and peruse the selection. Let me know if you find anything good, so I can grab something good for my to-be-read (TBR) pile too!

In the above giveaway, there is also a giveaway for 52 free sci-fi/fantasy paperbacks, including books by George R. R. Martin, Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, Hugh Howey and lots of authors. That contest is going on for 2 more months, I believe, and is valued at between 800-1,000 dollar value for the lucky winner.

I do plan on doing another Goodreads giveaway of paperbacks for my own Primal Patterns set, so stay tuned on that if you didn’t win the first full set giveaway!

There are also some really great $.99 deals going on, which includes The Goblin Rebellion out of the Primal Patterns set for a limited time (the duration of this promotion). So, if you want to recommend a friend to the series, take advantage of the free ebook edition of Lucifer’s Odyssey and the $.99 edition of The Goblin Rebellion. Also, check out the list on this site and let me and others know what else you see there that is worth putting on the TBR shelf.

There’s another promotion I’m involved in on June 19th, but it’s not live yet. I’ll let you know more about that when it goes active.

Enjoy the free and discounted books and have a great rest of the week!!!

I got excited when I saw the free 100 sci fi and fantasy books. But then I was disappointed to see that you have to get them through instafreebie. I don’t do instafreebie because I can’t get books to download onto my Amazon fire tablet. You have to do all this garbage with emailing the attachment to your Amazon email and converting it or something just to get it to download to kindle. I don’t remember now, but I can’t figure out one of the steps and it’s just too much hassle to mess with every time I want to download a free book. Bookfunnel is easy. Just download the bookfunnel app and then all you have to do is select download with the bookfunnel app and in seconds the books are in your kindle library. It hàs worked every time for me. I’m so sad I feel like crying. 😫😫😫😫

This is the first time I’ve participated in an instafreebie giveaway. I wasn’t aware of any problems, but I didn’t really think about the conversion from the epub version that they require and a mobi file.

This of course really doesn’t affect my book in the giveaway since it’s free everywhere, including Amazon. But for the other authors, this might be a problem. I’ll be on the lookout for options involving bookfunnel.
